About Me

Amanda Perlstein, MS CCLS

CLP Kids owner, Amanda Perlstein has been a Child Life Specialist since 2003. As a Colorado native, Amanda was excited to broaden her knowledge and experiences through her internship at Children’s Hospital Philadelphia, and her first job at Children’s Hospital at Montefiore in Bronx, NY. At Montefiore, Amanda worked in various hospital settings, starting in the busy Emergency Department before moving to the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and dialysis center, and then narrowing her practice to provide for the emotional and psychosocial needs of children in the Pediatric Cardiology center and Cardiac ICU. After 10 years in New York, Amanda met her future partner, and they joyfully moved to Denver, Colorado.
